"When we developed textiles for the collections in the 1990s our studio was exploring endless ways to turn old techniques upside down to create something new. Classic weaving techniques like the potholders we made as kids (and as adults if you are Amy Sedaris) were given a deluxe makeover with shiny satin and gross grain ribbons in varying widths. We hand wove panels for suits, coats, bags and pillows. I was delighted to find a trove of unused panels in our archive and decided to revive them into a new collection of home accents for Maker Shop." - Todd
